Establishment of a bamboo plantation in Muranga, Kenya

In March 2013 the first commercial bamboo plantation in Kenya was established. Waterstone in cooperation with Green Belt Movement (GBM) planted 1850 seedlings in Muranga. The arrivals of the bamboo seedlings were welcommed by the GBM women group by singing and blessings.
